Painted Shadows

‘Painted Shadows’ (Keith Keppel, R. 2014)  TB, 37″ (94 cm). Midseason to late bloom. Standards sulphur yellow, foxglove (42-GH-9) midrib on inner side only; style arms slightly darker yellow, foxglove midrib; falls petunia purple paling with age to pearl grey, ³⁄₈˝ edge extending inward as pale veining; beards cadmium yellow in throat, deep chrome yellow in middle, brass yellow over lavender white at end.  Keppel 2015. Honorable Mention 2017.
