North Rim

‘North Rim’ (‘Richard Tasco’, R. 2018).  TB, 38″ (97 cm), Late midseason bloom. Standards bronze yellow (RHS 163B), slightly darker toward edges, light plum wash near base of midrib; style arms golden yellow, plum-violet along ridges, blue-violet under stigmatic lip; falls ruby red, lighter toward edge, bronze yellow rim, plum-violet blush around end of beards, small white area veined red around beard; beard hairs based white, tips bronzed orange, few violet hairs at end; moderately ruffled; pronounced sweet fragrance.  Superstition 2018. Honorable Mention 2021.
