Noble Lord

‘Noble Lord’ (Richard Tasco, R. 2019). TB, 40″ (102 cm), Late midseason bloom. Standards red beetroot-purple (RHS 71A), metallic sheen; style arms beetroot-purple crests and along ridge, golden maize sides; falls textured veined bishops violet (81A) centers blending out to red beetroot-purple edges, terracotta on shoulders and around beard; beards beech brown in throat and middle, ends purple-violet; heavily ruffled; heavy purple based foliage; slight fragrance.  Superstition 2019. Honorable Mention 2021; Award of Merit 2023.
