Magic Masquerade

‘Magic Masquerade’ (Paul Black, R. 2008). TB, 44″ (112 cm), Late to very late bloom. Standards palest pearl-violet, slightly darker texture veins, 1/4″ gold-tan band; style arms pale slate-violet, gold tan lacy crests and veins extending to stigmatic lip; falls dark, velvety burgundy, extensive network of fine white veins over hafts, white bumps and sometimes white hooks along rim, reverse gold to green gold to cream to white heavily speckled and sanded red purple to burgundy; ruffled, laced; pronounced sweet fragrance.  Mid-America 2008. Honorable Mention 2010.
