First Wave’ (Richard Tasco, R. 2002).  TB, 33″ (84 cm). Midseason to late bloom. Medium blue violet self, aging lighter; beards pale violet, white hairs tipped yellow in throat; heavily ruffled; pronounced sweet fragrance. Superstition 2003. Honorable Mention 2005; Award of Merit 2007.
